127 players, including 35 overseas cricketers have been retained by the 8 IPL franchises. Let’s have a look at the list of players.

All the 8 IPL franchises have submitted the final list of players retained and released. Rs 85 crore per team has been earmarked for the 2020 season. Every franchise will also have an additional purse of Rs 3 crore in addition to the balance in their kitties from the last auction.

The VIVO IPL 2020 Player Auction will take place in Kolkata on 19th December, 2019.

Kings XI Punjab (INR 42.70 cr) now have the highest salary cap available going into the auction while Royal Challengers Bangalore (12) have the most number of player slots available (including 6 overseas slots). After today’s deadline, Chennai Super Kings (20) have the largest squad size.

Of the eight franchises, Royal Challengers Bangalore (12) have released the most players while Sunrisers Hyderabad (5) have released the least players from their squad.
