The key internal improvement of the iPhone SE 4 will feature processed by Apple is its in-house 5G modem dubbed ‘Centauri’. Jukanlosreve also says the display will be an LTPS OLED screen with a resolution of 2532 x 1170 max brightness of up to 800 nits, and Ceramic Shield protection. The display will likely be protected by the same M11 material found in last year’s iPhone 14 series, making it more resistant to damage.

Equipped with the A18 chip found in the iPhone 16 series and 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM, the iPhone SE 4 should be capable of running Apple Intelligence features—a major selling point for the brand. The camera setup is likely to include a single 48MP Sony Exmor IMX904 rear sensor and a 12MP front camera, although details on video recording capabilities remain undisclosed.

In terms of size, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to measure 146.7 x 71.5 x 7.8mm, housing a 3,279mAh battery—a significant 62.5% boost over the previous iPhone SE 3’s 2,018mAh cell. While the battery is, understandably far smaller than that of an iPhone 16 Pro (3,582mAh), it’s a step up over what SE fans were getting before. It is equipped with features such as Face ID, IP68 dust and water resistance, fast charging up to 20W, and wireless -Qi2 or MagSafe charging support of maximum power at a rate of only 15W.

With all of this, the SE 4 would end up being something close to an iPhone 16 at a more affordable $499-549. It said the model could go on to become one of Apple’s biggest hits, offering high performance at a compelling price point.
