iPhone SE 4 is rumored to have the same back cover as iPhone 16

It is surprising that this leak occurred because earlier rumors said the iPhone SE 4 would be an altered iPhone 14 with a single primary 48MP lens instead of two lenses, a 6.1-inch OLED display, Face ID, and an aluminum and glass finish.

The backplate production method for the iPhone SE 4 is “exactly the same” as that of the regular model in Apple’s next iPhone 16 series, which is anticipated to be delivered in September, according to the Weibo-based leaker “Fixed Focus Digital.” Springtime is when the iPhone SE 4 is anticipated to be released.

iPhone SE 4 is rumored to have the same back cover as iPhone 16

Despite a number of speculated improvements expected for the less expensive model, Apple is reportedly aiming for a starting price for its fourth-generation iPhone SE variant under $500. The screen will go from 4.7 to 6.1 inches in size, and a Face ID and a display notch will take the place of Touch ID and the Home button. An Action button and a USB-C port are anticipated additions to the upcoming iPhone SE.

Since it finally does away with the antiquated design that had Touch ID in the Home Button, the iPhone SE 4 is anticipated to be a significant improvement over its predecessor. The device’s enormous chin and forehead will also get a significant upgrade to an all-screen layout, which is far more useful and contemporary. Face ID is going to take the role of Touch ID, and we believe the business will employ a smaller notch than the larger one found on the iPhone X and some of its later variants.

As an alternative to the diagonal lens layout shown on the iPhone 15 models, Apple is preparing a new vertical camera lens design for the iPhone 16 models. With this new orientation, it should be possible to record Spatial Video for the Vision Pro headset with the regular iPhone 16 models. Although there haven’t been any reports that explicitly state Apple intends to include a dual camera configuration, adopting the same backplate for the iPhone SE 4 would appear to indicate that it will.
