The iPhone 15 series will be unveiled next month, with a slew of new features. However, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro versions for the following year will include additional hardware and software upgrades. According to one expert, Apple will use WiFi 7 in the iPhone 16 Pro models, as opposed to WiFi 6E in the iPhone 16 Pro models, as well as a 48MP ultra wide-angle camera.
According to Mark Gurman, the iPhone 15 Pro will be released sometime next month, possibly on September 12. The gadget will ship with WiFi 6E capability, which will provide faster download and upload rates than WiFi 6 on existing iPhone 14 Pro versions.
According to Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu, the WiFi 7 will be part of next year’s iPhone 16 Pro lineup.
WiFi 7 will handle simultaneous data transfer over the 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands. Not only will this provide quicker upload and download speeds, but it will also provide lower latency for a more secure and consistent connection. Playing online games on the iPhone 16 Pro models would be a breeze with the impending standard. WiFi 7 will support data transfer rates of up to 40 Gbps. Aside on WiFi 7, Jeff Pu claims that the iPhone 16 Pro models will include a 48MP ultra wide-angle camera for improved image quality.
The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max (or iPhone 16 super) will be able to capture more details of the subject thanks to an enhanced 48MP super wide-angle camera. If you are unfamiliar, the current iPhone 14 Pro versions have a 12MP super wide-angle camera, which is good but not as detailed as a 48MP lens.
The iPhone 14 Pro does have a 48MP primary camera. Take notice that using a 48MP camera takes significantly more space. While a 256GB base storage option is rumoured for the iPhone 15 Pro models, it will be available on the iPhone 16 Pro. The rumour is still in its early stages, and Apple has the last say, so stay tuned for further information.
