Since there may still be a market for little tablets, Apple keeps developing them. The iPad mini 7 will succeed the iPad mini 6, predicts one analyst, who also offers a little bit of information about its probable debut schedule.
Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst of TF International Securities, predicted that by the end of 2023, Apple might start shipping the iPad mini 7 in large quantities. This claim implies that the smaller slate might debut at some point, but Kuo also claims that there’s a chance that major shipments will take place in the first half of 2024.
iPad mini 7 rumoured features
Given the ongoing economic crisis, we anticipate Apple to hold off on releasing the iPad mini 7 until after the storm has passed. After all, it doesn’t make much sense to manufacture a product in large quantities and then have few people buy it since their purchasing power is limited due to constant inflation. Its SoC, in Kuo’s opinion, will be the iPad mini 7’s selling point.
The analyst, though, doesn’t say which chipset Apple would utilize to power it. The iPad mini 7 might use the 4nm A16 Bionic seen in the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, though, given that the iPad mini 6 uses the A15 Bionic.
Consumers might not be drawn to the product even if Apple sells it competitively, especially given that the iPad mini 6 is now being offered at a discount.
A redesign of the iPad mini 7’s design is not necessary for our opinion, either. As a result, it might have the same 8.3-inch IPS LCD screen, but we do hope that the tablet gets more RAM and camera sensors at the back to differentiate between the two product versions.
