Apple iPad Air M2 in comparison with Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ equally represents the very peak of tablet technology available to users who are looking for a combination of power, versatility, and sleek design. Now, based on a clear comparison, how do these two premium tablets differ?

Design and Display

In size, the iPad Air M2 is more modest and lightweight, with indicators of 280.6×214.9×6.1 mm and a mass of 617-618 g for Wi-Fi and 5G respectively. The height and width of the purchased tab difference are 285.4×185.4 mm and the mass is 627-628. Rather, it is ironic how it is larger than the iPad dimensions. The Galaxy Tab beats its rivals and gets IP68 dust and water cover.

In terms of display, the iPad Air M2 boasts an impressive 13.0-inch Liquid Retina IPS LCD display with 2048 x 2732 pixels that deliver sharp and vibrant colors. However, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ has a slightly smaller 12.4-inch IPS LCD display with 1600 x 2560 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate that offers a slightly more immersive viewing experience. These displays are excellent, but the iPad Air M2’s resolution makes it a winner in terms of clarity.

Processor

The iPad Air M2 has an M2 chipset with an octa-core CPU and a 10-core Apple GPU for a seamless experience with multitasking and gaming. On the other hand, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ is equipped with Samsung’s Exynos 1380 chipset, housing an octa-core CPU and Mali-G68 MP5 GPU, delivering commendable performance for everyday tasks.

Camera

Both tablets come with good cameras, have rear ones in which we can capture photos and videos, well as good resolution front-facing ones. Although the front and rear cameras of the iPad Air M2 are indeed better, they use a single 12MP rear camera and 12MP ultrawide front camera. Meanwhile, the rear camera setup of the Tab S9 FE+ uses a dual 8MP camera and 12MP ultrawide front. As a result, its rear and front cameras provide a more professional look than those of the iPad Air M2.

Battery

Lastly, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ is very good. The 10,090mAh battery and fast charging of the Tab S9 FE+ give it a long battery life that lasts all day on a single charge. The iPad Air M2 has not declared its battery capacity.
