As for iPhone 16 series users, Apple has added new customization options such as the ability to set whether Camera Control should open the camera app when the display is on or off. Regarding the rollout of this information, it should be noted that there is no release date yet, although MacRumors points out that iOS 18.2 should land for the public next December 9th. An official announcement about the feature removal from UK carrier EE confirmed this date. iOS 18.2 will also add support for localized English for Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, and the UK.

Then in April, this support will broaden to English (India), opening more doors for Apple’s AI features. Incorporating these enhancements, iOS 18.2 seems set to improve the overall user experience with a combination of fresh AI-powered features and some interface tweaks here and there.
