iOS 17 is finally launched and we are quite excited by its new features

With more than 100 new features, including StandBy and adaptive audio, iOS 17 was released today finally. Some improvements, such as upgrades to AirDrop, the Journal app, the catch-up arrow, and Apple Music cooperation, won’t be accessible right away but will be included to later updates of iOS 17. There are many features to get your teeth into as we wait, but we don’t yet certain when these drops will occur.

Contact posters, which function something like wallpapers for your favourite individuals, are now available in iOS 17 from Apple. You may create a poster with pictures, Memojis, and names to fill your screen when someone calls.

If you grew up during the Landline Era, you may recall being able to let a phone ring and listen to voicemail before answering it. Phones ruined that type of screening, but Apple’s iOS 17 is bringing it back. When someone calls and leaves a voice message, you’ll be able to read a live transcription of the message and pick up as they leave it. Consider how this will change the way you receive calls from unknown numbers.

Gone are the days of hollering “text me when you get home!” to a friend as you leave drinks and then forgetting to text them once you get home, and in their place is Check In on iPhone. You can start a Check In with a friend, and it will identify when you’ve arrived safely and notify your loved one automatically.

Apple’s iOS 17 search filters have been updated. For example, instead of finding every time you’ve asked for an address in your entire life, you may search for “address” in a chat with a specific acquaintance.

You may now have your audio messages transcribed, which is not the purpose of an audio message, but it is a godsend for anyone who has forgotten their headphones. You may also pause recording an audio message and resume recording the same message before sending it, play them back at twice the speed, and continue listening when you exit the Messages app.

The new Standby feature in Apple iOS 17 allows you to access information that you can see from a distance, such as a clock on your nightstand or your music on the kitchen counter, by tipping your iPhone on its side while it is charging.

In iOS 17, widgets also receive an overhaul. Now that you can interact with them, you can do things like pause a music, check something off your to-do list, or turn off the lights when you leave a room.

An entirely new update to AirDrop is one of the iOS 17 releases. Using NameDrop, users may exchange contact information by placing their iPhones and Apple Watches next to one another. Your share comes with your name and contact information.
