Alongside numerous incomings, Inter Milan are also planning to offload certain members of their squad ahead of the new season. Arturo Vidal and Alexis Sanchez are two such players that will be leaving the club this summer.

Brazilian club Flamengo are set to sign Arturo Vidal in the coming days. There have been talks between the club and the player’s agent since May, and a final agreement is expected very soon. The midfielder will sign an 18-month contract as he returns to South America, ending a remarkable spell in Europe.

The 35-year-old has been with Inter Milan since 2020, joining them after leaving Barcelona as a free agent. He was able to win the Scudetto in his first season with the club, and is now set to enter the final chapter of his career with an exit from European football.

Flamengo also maintain an interest in Alexis Sanchez, who is also expected to end his stay at Inter. Both players have one year remaining on their respective deals with the Nerazzurri, but will likely be offloaded by the end of the transfer window.

Inter Milan have signed Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Andre Onana and Romelu Lukaku most prominently this summer transfer window. They have several important players throughout the pitch, and will now need to optimise their transfer activity to end the window in a net positive as is their ambition.
