Inter Milan have officially announced a contract renewal for midfielder Marcelo Brozovic until June 2026. The player’s last deal was set to expire this summer, and there were rumours that he would end up leaving the club for free.
But, those rumours have now been put to rest with the Croatian committing to the Nerazzurri for the next four years. The player will be receiving a salary worth €6 million per season as part of his new deal. He also confirmed that he never held talks with any other club over a potential move either:
“I’ve never held talks with any other clubs out of respect for Inter and their fans. I’d like to thank the club and I’ll say it again, I’m so happy for today”, Marcelo Brozovic told Inter’s official site.
“I’ve always said to my agents that I wouldn’t want to speak to any other club unless Inter told me that they weren’t interested in renewing my deal.”

The midfielder’s contributions have been the biggest factor behind Inter Milan’s recent success. In their recent games, his absence due to injury has shown that he is the key to make their formation work.
With the player expected to return on the other side of the international break, Inter are hopeful of returning to winning ways with him in the starting line-up. And with big games against the likes of Juventus and AC Milan, the defending champions will need to be at their best to come away with a good result.
