Inter Milan are preparing to offload several players this summer to thin their wage bill. Chief executive Beppe Marotta is aware of the bloated squad, and is looking to let go of several players to make room for new arrivals and deal with their debt.
Edin Dzeko, Denzel Dumfries and Alexis Sanchez have been put on the top of the transfer list already. Milan Skriniar’s future remains uncertain, with PSG contacts stalling due to their signing of RB Leipzig defender Nordi Mukiele.
Inter Milan looking to sell several players
The Nerazzurri signed Romelu Lukaku back on a loan deal from Chelsea this summer. His massive wages have hindered their business this window. Despite registering their interest in Paulo Dybala and Gleison Bremer, they have missed out on both targets.
Alexis Sanchez could join Marseille, with his €6 million wages proving to be a difficult number on their wage books. No suitors have come forth for Dumfries yet, despite rumours linking him and Erik Ten Hag with a reunion at Old Trafford. But, Manchester United are not going to offer the €50 million tag placed on him.
Edin Dzeko has no interest in leaving Inter Milan this summer, having performed very well last season. The 36-year-old has a contract until 2023, and is unlikely to receive a similar offer from any other club. The club are also looking to move on Andrea Pinamonti, who spent the last season on loan at Empoli.
