Inter enters the Coppa Italia final after their 1-0 victory against Juventus
Federico Dimarco netted the ball cleanly and it was enough to mark his club’s victory. Inter are off to the finals and will compete for their eighth Coppa Italia against the champions of the Fiorentina vs Cremonese draw, which concluded 2-0 for Fiorentina in the first leg.
Inter had a great start to the game, with a brilliant Barella dominating the midfield with intricate passing to forwards Lautaro Martinez and Edin Dzeko, who were unable to convert it.
The star midfielder gave a tactful pass to Dimarco, who received the ball to his feet and wonderfully past Juventus keeper Perin to enter right inside the nets.
Dimarco’s strike made sure Inter’s entry to the finals for the second season in a row. Inter had struggled in Serie A, but that doesn’t seem to have had an impact on their efforts at the cup championships.
Where is the Nerazzuri on the table?
The Nerazzuri stand sixth in the table now with just six three wins in the league since February 18.
However, they beat Benfica aside to get into the last four of the Champions League and have a sensational Milan derby in the semis after all-time rivals AC Milan saw off at Napoli.
Inter have their next game due on Sunday against Lazio, where the 2020-21 Serie A winners will want to spark and grab a second win.
