Intel’s upcoming Laminar RH1 cooler for 12th Gen CPUs is all over the place

Well, Intel seems to be really poor at hiding things as finally a refreshed stock cooler from the silicon giants is on its way with the 12th Gen Intel Alder Lake processors. Already they have launched the higher TDP based overclockable “K-series” and that includes a handful of processors, which anyways will require a dedicated cooler.

Next month, at CES 2022, Intel is about to announce the other processors in its huge 12th Gen CPU lineup with 65W TDP options which will also come with Intel’s new stock coolers out-of-the-box. There will be two coolers provided with these new 12th Gen SKUs: Intel RH1 & RM1 CPU Coolers and we have seen their designs & render already.

The basic RM1 CPU Cooler has fins made of plastic while the RH1 cooler fins are entirely made of metal, making the heat dissipation better than ever for a stock cooler. However, don’t get too excited because this high-quality Laminar RH1 cooler will be reserved for the 12th Gen Core i9 series with a TDP of 65W.

The Laminar RH1 cooler even has built-in LEDs, however, in the leaked images we see the blue LED, suggesting Intel’s colour, however, we do not know whether the cooler will come with a full spectrum of colours as we saw with AMD’s Wraith Prism Coolers before.

Videocardz has previously leaked, that there will three new Intel stock coolers and out of the two have been leaked fully and in real images. However, the third cooler, codenamed RS1 has not been spotted in real photos yet but we can safely assume it’s coming with upcoming entry-level Pentium and Celeron CPUs.
