Intel’s upcoming Arrow Lake and Raptor Lake-H Refresh mobility CPUs are set to be marketed under the Core Ultra 200 and Core 200H branding as per the information shared by the reliable leaker, Golden Pig Upgrade. This is the version of the Raptor Lake series for laptops and it’s the second update.

The All New Intel Arrow Lake CPU

In terms of details, the Arrow Lake processors will be part of the Core Ultra 200 series, including both H and U variants. Examples of chip names are Core Ultra 9 2XXH and Core Ultra 7 2XXU. On the other hand, the Raptor Lake H Refresh will use the Core 200H branding for NonUltra models. It’s important to note that there’s no mention of a Raptor Lake U series as Intel seems to be saving some Meteor Lake models for entry-level use while Arrow Lake CPUs target higher-end consumers.

The decision to refresh Raptor Lake H more is driven by pricing considerations with these chips expected to provide value if not improved performance positioning, especially in high-end gaming scenarios. Meanwhile, Arrow Lake H and Arrow Lake HX will be featured in designs alongside cutting-edge hardware.

As for Arrow Lake mobile processors they will come in three versions; HX, H, and U. Configurations of Arrow Lake H CPUs have been seen with 6 Lion Cove P Cores and 8 Skymont E Cores. The iGPU will be built on the Xe LPG “Alchemist” GPU architecture while some models will adopt the newer and improved Alchemist+ “Xe LPG+” architecture.

The high-end Arrow Lake HX CPUs will use the dies as desktop models with a maximum of 8 P Cores and 16 E Cores. On the other hand the Raptor Lake-H Refresh “Core 200H” CPUs will feature up to 6 P Cores based on the Raptor Cove and 8 E Cores based on the core architecture.

The availability of Intel’s Arrow Lake “Core Ultra 200” and Raptor Lake-H Refresh “Core 200H” mobility CPUs is anticipated by the end of this year or early 2025. The Intel Core Ultra 200 lineup is expected to include Lunar Lake-MX CPUs, although the precise branding remains unconfirmed. AMD’s lineup is also expected to consist of various older architectures alongside the newer Strix Point chips.
