Intel’s 14th Gen Processors launched with up to 6GHz out-of-the-box

Today, Intel launched the new Intel® Core™ 14th Generation desktop processor family, led by the Intel® Core™ i9-14900K. This latest-generation desktop processor family includes six new unlocked desktop processors at launch, delivering up to 24 cores and 32 threads and up to 6 GHz of frequency right out of the box.

Additionally, the Intel® Core™ i7-14700K arrives with 20 cores and 28 threads thanks to four more efficient cores (E-cores) compared with the prior generation. Intel’s Extreme Tuning Utility (XTU) now features the new AI Assist feature, bringing one-click AI-guided overclocking to select unlocked Intel Core 14th Gen desktop processors.

  • Introducing the Superior Gaming Solution: The Intel Core 14th Generation processors deliver an exceptional gaming experience, boasting a remarkable 23% increase in gaming performance when compared to top competitor processors. Furthermore, the new gaming-oriented functionalities, such as Intel Application Optimization (APO), guarantee improved application threading, complementing the existing Intel Thread Director for efficient application thread scheduling.
  • Continued Overclocking Leadership: Intel’s 14th-generation unlocked processors maintain their position as leaders in overclocking performance, catering to both experts and beginners. These latest-generation desktop processors introduce the cutting-edge Intel® XTU AI Assist feature, which provides AI-guided assistance for overclocking. Additionally, they offer support for DDR5 XMP speeds exceeding 8,000 mega transfers/second (MT/S). This ensures an unmatched overclocking experience for users of all levels of expertise.
