Intel has announced its own gaming laptop – the NUC X15 Laptop Kit recently packing all its own processors and paired with NVIDIA RTX-30 series graphics.
You can configure the laptop up to Core i7-11800H, which is an 8-core and 16-thread processor or opt for the base Core i5-11400H Tiger Lake-H CPU. On the graphics front, you can opt up to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 and you also have the RTX 3060 option as well.
So, the Intel NUC X15 Laptop Kit will be available in five configurations and most probably again be sold directly but through system integrators. The gaming laptop has a very simple look and is made up of magnesium alloy chassis and you can choose from 15.6 inch 144Hz or 240Hz Full HD or 165Hz QHD 16:9 displays.
Intel has used various display options, which is good to see as gamers have their own needs. The NUC X15 will also sport optomechanical keyboard switches, PCIe Gen4 storage support because of its Tiger Lake-H processors and obviously, you have Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.1 support.
Another good thing is you have dual-channel SODIMMs and the keyboard has per-key RGB backlighting. Also, the gaming laptop has been stuffed with a huge 94 Wh battery, however, the pricing of its NUC X15 laptop has not yet been revealed by Intel.
