We already have seen quite a number of Tiger Lake-H processors have been leaked in the past couple of days. Now, we have got some more interesting details about the 6 core and 8 core CPUs of this lineup.
These new Tiger Lake-H CPUs are based out of 10nm SuperFin transistors and is built on a new Willow Cove architecture. Though we have already got the idea of the clock speeds and TDPs of these chips, now thanks to @OneRaichu we have some info AVX-512 clock speeds as well.
The flagship 8-core Core i9-11980HK comes with 2.6 GHz base and 5 GHz boost clocks but an all core boost of 4.5 GHz. Interestingly, when you compare the chip with its predecessor Core i9-10980HK, you will see the new flagship CPU offering 200 MHz higher frequency at 3.3 GHz .
However, when it comes to AVX-512 clock, thanks to 65 W cTDP, this CPU can attain as much as 3.3 GHz frequency while the other chips in the lineup have significantly less cTDP and AVX-512 frequencies. However, power consumption will be an issue as these Intel chips draw a lot of power, but the competition against the Ryzen 9 5900HX will be a thing to look at.
@OneRaichu has further added that both the Core i7 and Core i9 variants will support DDR4-3200 RAM whereas the Core i5 SKUs will compatible with DDR4-2933 RAM and come with 2 MB L3 cache per core.
