Intel Core i7-11800H appears in fresh Geekbench listings

We have seen several leaks of the Intel Core i7-11800H and its retailer listings, but all those were only the initial appearances of the Tiger Lake-H45 processor.

However, APISAK has shared some interesting details about the upcoming 8-core, 16-thread chip, which was put to the test on Geekbench. The i7-11800H was tested in a system with motherboard information reading “SAMSUNG_NP_760XDA”, which indicates that this is a new entry for the Samsung Notebook Series 7 range.

The Tiger Lake-H45 chip is paired with 32 GB RAM and is at a stepping level of 1 in this test run. The results produced by the chip at single-core were at 1,537 points, while the multi-core score was 8,393 points. These scores place the Intel Core i7-11800H at +18.00% (single) and +7.64% (multi) ahead of the previous-generation Intel Core i7-10875H.

But when the results were compared to the highest scores of the Comet Lake predecessor, the differences then is at +12.11% for single but -2.63% for the multi-core mark for the 11th generation.

Comparing it to its rival, the i7-11800H’s results are +4.70% (single) and +5.44% (multi) against the AMD Ryzen 7 5800H. When compared with the Zen 3 processor’s maximum scores, we find that the +3.85% (single) and +4.46% (multi) for the Tiger Lake-H45 CPU.

According to sources, the Intel UHD Graphics GPU in the Core i7-11800H was also tested. The integrated-GPU from Intel scored 8,339 points in OpenCL. It has 32 compute units and a 1.45 GHz maximum frequency.

Since the i7 processor produced satisfying results, to say the least, and it will be interesting to find out what the top-end Intel Core i9-11980HK can offer.
