Intel Core i3-10100T chip’s performance spotted on UserBenchmark

Its coming and we all know that the Intel Comet Lake-S desktop CPUs will be launched soon and now we have some benchmarks of the budget 14nm based CPU. The Intel Core i3-10100T has been spotted by Tum Apisak on UserBenchmark alongside 32 GB RAM and a fast SSD.

The CPU was being tested as a component of a Dell Precision 3640 Tower and the average benchmark of the Comet Lake processor was 67.9%, which is considered to be a “good” result. The Intel Core i3-10100T is a 4-core and 8-thread CPU with an expected TDP of 35W.

This CPU has a base clock speed of 3.0GHz and an average turbo of 3.5GHz. It has a single-core score of 109 points and 206 points in the 2-core test. Even though having a promising single-core speed, the multi-core performance doesn’t seem promising: 4-core – 354 points, 8-core – 570 points, 64-core – 549 points.

Although the fact remains that Intel Core i3-10100T is at the budget end of the Comet Lake-S lineup and rumours say that the CPU will only cost €129 (around US$143). At that pricing, the single-core and dual-core performance is quite good but will likely get overpowered by AMD’s Ryzen CPUs which give even better quad-core performance.
