The Raptor Lake-HX Refresh CPUs, designed primarily for gaming purposes while also offering productivity and content creation capabilities, are part of Intel’s alternative lineup to the mainstream and low-power targeted Meteor Lake CPUs.
All About the Intel 14th Gen Core i5-14450HX
Distinct from Meteor Lake, the 14th Gen HX lineup emphasizes more cores, higher clock speeds, premium cooling solutions, and discrete graphics support. Although the HX lineup doesn’t have an AI NPU, like Meteor Lake it focuses on delivering gaming performance, which currently doesn’t see benefits from such features.
Lets delve into the specifications of the Intel Core i5 14450HX CPU. It boasts a 10-core design with 6 P Cores and 4 E Cores offering a base clock speed of 2.6 GHz that can boost up to 4.8 GHz.
