Intel gaining CPU market share thanks to 12th Gen: Steam Hardware Survey

In Windows, Intel has gained a 0.26% market share in March 2022 while AMD lost the same amount which goes to show how much the Blue team’s latest CPU is outselling AMD in recent days. Also, people are opting for great Intel CPUs like Core i7-12700KF or the flagship Core i9-12900K and even the budget Core i5-12600K processor is offering great value to its customers.

Not only this, Intel’s entry level Core i3s are also very popular among gamers and that is the reason why Intel is gaining market share in Steam’s latest Hardware Survey. Although AMD has launched new Ryzen 5 5600, 5500 and others to counter but the main competition now is eyed towards AMD’s Ryzen 7000 series processors which Intel will also counter with 13th Gen Raptor Lake.

As you see in the Linux vendor share, AMD is continuously gaining more share and thanks to its high demand for Threadripper or workstation processors, Linux users or servers are using more AMD processors than ever.
