Netflix’s *Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen* turns Ontario into a frozen nightmare. Filmed over 73 brutal days, the Duffer Brothers production utilized Mississauga, Toronto, and Hamilton to craft its claustrophobic aesthetic. From the now-shuttered Vienna Tavern to harsh, snowy exterior landscapes, the Canadian winter serves as a key character, amplifying the sinister dread of this wedding-gone-wrong thriller.
