Infinix Smart 9 HD Launching in India on January 17

Infinix Smart 9: The Infinix Smart 8 HD, which was launched in India in December 2023, was one of the popular smartphone models, and now, over a year later, Infinix is working on the successor to the series, the Infinix Smart 9 HD. As per exclusive information from industry sources, the phone will be launched in India on January 17th. Infinix is likely to start teasing the smartphone on social media over the next few days ahead of its announcement.

On the design front, the Infinix Smart 9 HD has dual camera sensors housed in a square camera module on the top-left corner of the back panel. The module will have a groove in the shape of an oval through which the LED flash will be placed, and the words “Crystal Clear F=1.8 camera” will be written. The volume rocker and power button are on the right edge of the device. The phone will come in four color options — Metallic Black, Mint Green, Coral Gold, and Neo Titanium. It should retain a multilayer glass back with flat edges and a color-matched frame.

Now the one factor you’ll love most about the Infinix Smart 9 HD is that this cellphone will be the hardest telephone in the section. It should be durable enough to go through multiple levels of flagship testing such as six-side drop test from a height of 1.5 meters, and more than 250,000 drop tests perhaps done in a controlled lab setting at Infinix.

The full specs of the phone aren’t out yet, but we should know more soon. To recall, Infinix Smart 8 HD came with a 6.6-inch HD+ 90Hz display, a Unisoc T606 processor, and a 5000mAh battery at a price of ₹6,699.
