Infinix Hot 40i: India Launch Details and Price Leak; Key Specifications Revealed

The launch of the Infinix Hot 40i, in India is expected to happen although the company has not officially hinted at its arrival in the country. However, an online leak has provided some insights into when it might be launched.

This model was first unveiled in Saudi Arabia in November 2023. It is currently available in global markets. It is speculated that the Indian version will have specifications as the one. There are also suggestions regarding pricing ranges for the smartphone in India well as different RAM and storage options.

According to a report by 91Mobiles Hindi, it is projected that the Infinix Hot 40i will make its debut in India during the half of February with Flipkart expected to be one of the channels selling it. The phone is anticipated to come in two variants; 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. The latter variant is rumored to be one of the smartphones with a 256GB capacity available in India. Additionally, there are rumors that suggest it may support RAM extension of up to 8GB.

The global edition of the Infinix Hot 40i is currently available, in markets. While pricing can vary depending on regions it has been confirmed that this lineup falls under the $200 bracket (₹16,000). The Infinix Hot 40i is available, in four color options; Horizon Gold, Palm Blue, Starlit Black, and Starfall Green.

The global version of the Infinix Hot 40i comes with a 6.56-inch HD+ display (720 X 1,612) that features a rate of 90Hz and a peak brightness of 480 nits. It is driven by a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The device operates on Android 13 right out of the box.

In terms of camera capabilities, the Infinix Hot 40i houses a 50-megapixel primary sensor alongside an unspecified AI-supported secondary sensor, complemented by a ring LED flashlight at the rear. For selfies and video calls, it features a 32-megapixel sensor. Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery with 18W wired charging support.
