Indus, a Made-in-India battle royale game developed by Pune-based SuperGaming, is gearing up for its fourth playtest. The emphasis for these playtests is on developing and testing features to make the game ready for esports.
Indus Battle Royale Pre-Registrations Cross 1.5 Million, Esports Community Playtest 4 Announced
Pre-registrations for the game, which will be available on mobile, PC, and consoles, have already crossed 1.5 million on Google Play for Android. “We’re grateful for the community’s response to Indus with over 1.5 million pre-registrations,” says SuperGaming co-founder and CEO Roby John.
“With Indus’ core gameplay in place, this is the first time we’ll be showing our early esports features. Now is a good time for us to add necessary options and refine them to make Indus esports ready.” The playtest is an invite-only event, and players can sign up for access and crucial details like timing through a link.
During the playtest, players will have access to the latest build of the game and play a few rounds of the game with developers and other community members. The emphasis for this playtests is on developing esports features, including squads, spectator mode, and armour system, among other things.
SuperGaming‘s previous multiplayer hits, MaskGun and Silly Royale have been successful due to their focus on community engagement. The game fans who register for the playtest will have the opportunity to share their thoughts on various aspects of the game and impact its direction.
Players who are invited to the playtest will receive an Indus Battle Kit, a collector’s item made to celebrate the game’s community and the collaborative nature of game development.
