## What Makes the Nova 2 Worth Your Attention?

Let’s be honest — the under-₹11,000 smartphone segment is brutally competitive. Every brand is fighting for the first-time upgrader and the value-conscious switcher. So what does Ai+ bring to the table that’s different?

![Ai+ Nova 2](https://technosports.co.in/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image002-1-1-1024x576.png)

Two things stand out immediately: **a 6000mAh battery** and **Android 16 with NxtQuantum OS** — India’s first sovereign operating system. At this price point, that combination is genuinely rare. Most phones in this range either compromise on battery longevity or ship with bloated software. The Nova 2 is pitching itself as the phone that does neither.

Madhav Sheth, CEO of Ai+ Smartphone and Founder of NxtQuantum Shift Technologies, framed it simply: the Nova Series is about technology that is “accessible, reliable, and built for real everyday use” — no compromise for first-time upgraders or those switching into the Ai+ ecosystem.

## A Camera That Punches Above Its Price

A **50MP rear camera** on a sub-₹9,000 phone sounds almost too good to be true, but Ai+ is betting on it as their headline feature for casual creators and social media users. Paired with an **8MP front camera** for selfies and video calls, the Nova 2 covers the bases that everyday users actually care about most.

The **IP64 rating** — meaning dust and splash resistance — is another genuinely useful addition that budget phones often skip entirely. Add five personality-driven colour options and a clean side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and you have a device that doesn’t just perform, it looks the part too.

## The NxtQuantum OS Angle — Why It Matters

Behind the Nova 2 is **NxtQuantum Shift Technologies**, a deep-tech Indian company founded by Madhav Sheth — the same person who previously led Realme India to mainstream dominance. NxtQuantum OS is being built as India’s first sovereign operating system, designed for a digital-first world that prioritises security and data sovereignty.

In a global conversation where [smartphone operating systems](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_operating_system) and digital sovereignty are increasingly important topics, an India-authored OS powering an affordable device is a statement that goes well beyond just specs.
