TCL is a well-established player and one of the priority rivals of Sony, LG, Samsung, and other television makers. This giant is bringing Smart TVs running on the latest Android 11 TV OS to India for the first time. However, the global launch will also take place at the same time which is today at 4:30 PM IST or 11:00 AM GMT.
Though the company didn’t reveal all the specs of the new smart TV i.e. TCL P725, it mentioned most of those here are there in different places. The television is listed on Amazon India as well as on its official website as TCL P725 4K HDR. That clearly means the TV is coming with the 4K resolution screen having the support HDR. The new listing on Amazon mentioned that there will be Dolby Vision support as well. For now, the screen size is not revealed. Lastly, TCL is providing MEMC technology to this model for a smoother visual experience.
Coming to the image processing, the YouTube video released by the company highlights there will be TCL’s first generation 4K AiPQ Engine. The information regarding RAM and internal storage are yet to come out.
The most attractive part for the Indian market is the Android 11 TV OS. TCL is the first company to bring that to India, however, for the global market, it’s not a new one. Due to the OS, consumers will get access to the Google Assistant and Google Play Store as well to download apps as per requirement. I believe, there will be features like Chromecast that are tested through the official website’s featured image.
As I mentioned in my last article regarding this P725, there can be a built-in camera for video calls, it’s confirmed now.
To list the rest of the specs, consumers can enjoy the second generation Hands-Free Voice Control, dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity, and Dolby Atmos.
Get ready for the launch today (10th March) at 4:30 PM IST or 11:00 AM GMT. The link given below is to reach out to the Amazon India TCL page at the earliest.
