Indian Women’s League 2021-22: Everything you need to know before the tournament starts on 15th April

The Indian Women’s League is all set to kick off its 2021-22 season on 15th April 2022. The tournament will comprise 12 teams and each team will play against one another in a round-robin format.

There will be a total of 66 matches played and the team at the top of the table after playing all their 11 matches will be named the Champions of the Indian Women’s League 2021-22.

The Indian Women’s League will take place in three stadiums in Odisha – Kalinga Stadium, Seventh Battalion and Capital Ground. The tournament will end on 26th May 2022.

The 12 teams taking part in the Indian Women’s League 2021-22 are:

  1. ARA FC
  2. Gokulam Kerala FC
  3. Hans Women Football Club
  4. Indian Arrows
  5. Kickstart FC Karnataka
  6. MATA RUKMANI FOOTBALL CLUB (GIRLS)
  7. Odisha Police
  8. PIFA Sports (Colaba) FC
  9. SETHU, MADURAI
  10. Sirvodem Sports Club
  11. Sports Odisha
  12. SSB Women Football Club
