India wins 2-1 against Bangladesh in SAFF U-17 Championship semifinals 

India U17 team defeated tournament favorites Bangladesh in SAFF U-17 Championship semifinals. Now they will meet either Nepal or Sri Lanka in the summit meet.

“We have put the disappointment of the last result behind us. The focus has not shifted to semifinals. I can see it in the boys that they are motivated to prove that the result against Nepal was a temporary setback,” head coach Bibiano Fernandes said before the match.

India reaches SAFF U-17 Championship Final

Even though the overall performance from Mirajul was one of the ages as he earned a penalty and sent the keeper on the wrong side still Bangladesh lost the match. Gangte showed brilliant performance and two clinical finishes which carried out today’s victory.
