Nishant Sindhu has scored a spectacular half-century for India that helped the team to win U-19 World Cup. Joshua Boyden from England had broken their fifty-run partnership between Raj Bawa (35) and Sindhu. Following him, Dhull returned to the pavilion scoring 17. At that time, India’s score was 97 for 4 wickets and they required some runs less than 100 more runs to win the trophy.
Earlier didn’t have a good batting performance initially and all the credit goes to Ravi Kumar and Raj Bawa. Ravi had taken 4 wickets giving only 34 runs Bawa ended with 5 wickets for 31 runs. James Rew had had a massive impact on the scorecard as he scored 95 runs with the support of James Sales. Their 75 run partnership helped the team reach a total of 189 runs.
