India won the third and final ODI against Bangladesh in Chattogram by 227 runs in the three-match ODI series of 2-1. The visitors posted a giant total of 409 runs. Virat Kohli mustered his 72nd century, and Ishan Kishan mustered a double century.

Indian bowlers bundled out Bangladesh in just 182 runs, making this match the most significant ODI loss in the entire format history. India lost both in the first two games, but the way they thrashed the hosts in the final will be worthy of remembrance. Youngster Ishan Kishan smashed a double century, and Virat Kohli also hit a ton that helped the team get to a huge total of 409/8 in 50 overs. Bangladesh lost Anamul Haque for just 8 runs. Litton Das got dismissed by Mohammad Siraj at just 29.

Axar Patel bagged his second wicket by dismissing MUshfishur Rahman for 7 runs. Umran Malik got Yasir Ali out for 25. Kuldeep Yadav dismissed Mahmudullah for 20 runs in the first over. Shardul Thakur dismissed Afif Hossain for 8 runs in the very next over. He also got out Mehidy Hasan for 3 runs. Ishan crossed the 200-run mark for just 126 deliveries. Later he got dismissed at 210 runs which he piled up in 126 deliveries. Virat smashed his 72nd international ton before Shakib Al Hasan dismissed him at 113 runs off 91 deliveries.

Ishan Kishan became the youngest player to muster a double ton this Saturday. The previous youngest player was Rohit Sharma, who recorded his first double against Australia in 2013 at the age of 26 years, and 186 days. Kishan completed the 150 runs in 103 balls, the quickest individual 150 by an Indian in men’s ODIs. Against the West Indies in 2011, Sehwag held the record for the fastest 150, reaching it in just 112 balls.
