KL Rahul fell soon too, by Khaled. Virat Kohli too got dismissed by an lbw. India was now at a place of concern. Soon, Pujara and Pant came to the rescue. Both of them added 64 runs from 72 deliveries for the fourth wicket before Mehidy disrupted their partnership. Rishabh Pant completed his 50th six after which he got dismissed. He could pile up only 46 runs off 45 deliveries. As Shreyas Iyer and Chetashwar Pujara looked for their respective centuries, Taijul scalped the latter’s wicket. It ended their 149-run stand. Axar Patel escaped a bat-pad appeal and the hosts didn’t go for a review either. Mehidy trapped him in an lbw on the last delivery of the ball.
