## **Breaking Records – Missing Olympic Qualification**

Despite their record breaking performance, the Indian team fell short of the crucial target needed to qualify for the Paris Olympics. To make the cut, they needed to beat the time of 3:13.56 to secure the 16th spot on the Road to Paris list. Currently, the Czech Republic and Italy hold the 15th and 16th positions with times of 3:11.98 and 3:13.56, respectively.

## **Road to Paris: The Challenge Ahead**

India’s current ranking of 21st on the Road to Paris list indicates a challenging path ahead. Only sixteen teams will compete in the mixed 4x400m relay event at the Paris Olympics, and with fourteen teams already qualified from the World Athletics Relays in Nassau, Bahamas, only two spots remain.

To enhance their chances, the [Athletics Federation of India](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Athletics_Federation_of_India) (AFI) might consider sending the team to international competitions before the June 30 deadline to improve their timing and secure an Olympic berth.
