Rising star Inde Navarrette is set to anchor *The Waffle House Index*, a high-concept Apple Original thriller. The film, arriving in 2027, utilizes the real-world FEMA disaster metric as a chilling metaphor for societal collapse. Expect a tense, grounded experience mirroring the intensity of *A Quiet Place*. Apple’s latest genre bet promises an ambitious, star-driven spectacle that redefines survival cinema.
