Darcie Brown and Ashleigh Gardner were in their best forms and scalped two wickets each. From India, Renuka Singh, Anjali Sarvani, Deepti Sharma, and Devika Vaidya picked two wickets each.

For Australia, Brown and Gardner picked two wickets while Carey and Megan Schutt picket one wicket each that restricting India to 151/7. With this victory, Australia took the lead of 2-1 over India in the five-match T20I series. Smriti Mandhana and Richa Ghosh failed to perform effectively, scoring only one run each, which added to India’s anguish in the final few overs. With her 140th appearance, captain Harmanpreet broke the record for most WT20I appearances. She attempted to slog-sweep a full ball from Megan Schutt outside off but was caught by Sutherland at long-on. Despite the fact that Deepti smashed three fours in the last over, it put an end to India’s chances. India needed 27 runs in the final six balls, but despite Deepti being present, they couldn’t win.
