India wins the 5th T20I match against West Indies by 88 runs and clinches the series at 4-1. Today’s game was one-sided and dominated by the Indian bowlers. India decided to bat first and posted a total of 188 runs. The bowlers of the team restricted West Indies in just 100 runs.

India scripted a sensational victory of 88 runs against West Indies in Florida on 7th August 2022. Axar Patel from India provided the first breakthrough as he scalped one wicket in the first over. After that, he picked two more in no time. Kuldeep Yadav made his debut in the series and scalped three wickets. Ravi Bishnoi on the other hand, Picked four wickets. India restricted West Indies on just 100 runs in 15.4 overs. Before that, India started off on a great note with Shreyas Iyer mustering 60 runs in 40 balls. He was supported by Deepak Hooda who mustered 38 runs in 25 balls and the team reached 122 for three in just 13 overs. West Indies buckled up very soon giving out 66 runs in the seven overs and scalping four wickets. India wrapped the series very soon and clinched a 4-1 win. They only lost the second T20I in which the opponent won by 5 wickets. Shreyas Iyer’s 64 helped India to get to 188/7 after Hardik Pandya chose to bat. Rohit Sharma and Bhuveneshwar Kumar took some rest in today’s match before the Asia Cup that is all set to start at the end of this month.
