## Sam Worthington as David Burroughs

David is the emotional center of the show. His journey drives the series’ mix of prison break, family mystery, and conspiracy thriller.

## Britt Lower as Rachel Mills

Rachel is one of the story’s most important allies. She’s David’s former sister-in-law and a fallen investigative journalist who discovers a photo suggesting Matthew survived. That revelation pulls her into David’s search and gives the series a second lead with her own personal stakes in uncovering the truth.

## Milo Ventimiglia as Hayden Payne

Hayden is Rachel’s ex-boyfriend, but he’s far more than a romantic subplot. Netflix says he comes from a prominent Boston family and works through his family’s philanthropic foundations. His continued loyalty to Rachel drags him into David’s increasingly dangerous mission.

## The Investigators and Family Ties

The chase side of the series is led by **Sarah Greer** and **Max Williams**, the FBI duo assigned to hunt David down. On the personal side, **Cheryl Dreason** — David’s ex-wife — is forced to confront old trauma when he resurfaces. Add in **Adam Mackenzie**, David’s childhood friend in law enforcement, and the story gets even more morally tangled.

## The Darker Mystery Layer

The show’s deeper conspiracy is strengthened by characters like **Gertrude**, a rich heiress with secrets, and **Nicky Fisher**, a semi-retired mobster whose connection to David’s family threatens to expose buried truths. Netflix also lists **Lenny Burroughs, Sophie Burroughs, Warden Philip Mackenzie, Matthew Burroughs, Stephano, Kyle “Skunk” Bergin,** and **Detective Müller** among the supporting cast.

## Why the Cast Stands Out

One reason *I Will Find You* works as a bingeable thriller is the range of its cast. Worthington gives it urgency, Lower adds investigative grit, Ventimiglia brings emotional steadiness, and veterans like Stowe, Brown, and McBride thicken the mystery with prestige weight. Combined with the Harlan Coben formula of family secrets and sudden reversals, the ensemble is built to keep viewers guessing. That final observation is an inference based on Netflix’s cast breakdown and the show’s premise.
