A shaky second day has cast some doubt over the fate of Prithviraj Sukumaran’s latest theatrical outing. “I, Nobody” saw a steep 55% drop on its second day, signaling that mixed reviews may be catching up with the film faster than expected.

### I, Nobody: Day-Wise Collection Breakdown

After opening to Rs. 2.25 crore, the film added just Rs. 1.05 crore on Friday, pushing its two-day total to Rs. 3.30 crore gross in Kerala. That’s a modest number for a film headlined by an actor of Prithviraj’s stature, and trade estimates suggest the movie could end its first week somewhere between Rs. 7 and 9 crore gross.

| Day 1 | Rs. 2.25 crore |

### Why the Slowdown?

Mixed word-of-mouth appears to be the biggest hurdle standing between “I, Nobody” and a stronger weekend run. Stronger buzz and more positive reviews could have significantly boosted its trajectory, but the film still has a shot at a respectable run if it manages steady growth over the coming days. The outcome matters for [Prithviraj](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prithviraj_Sukumaran), who hasn’t had a clean box-office hit in a while, even as his upcoming lineup keeps building.
