With the arrival of the festive season, Hyundai is fastening its seat belts to bring in some spunk in the sub-4m SUV arena with Venue Adventure Edition. Here’s what it means: The Venue is getting a special edition in its lifetime to lift sales and bring more newness to the lineup. The model is offered in three Adventure Edition trims with a price beginning from ₹10.15 lakh (ex-showroom).
The All New Hyundai Venue Adventure Edition
Hyundai says that the Venue Adventure Edition follows the footsteps of the Creta and Alcazar (pre-facelift) Adventure Editions. The vehicle has been launched in order to strengthen Hyundai’s presence in the sub-4m SUV segment. The pricing for the Adventure Edition starts at ₹10.71 lakh (ex-showroom) for the S(O)+ 1.2 MPi MT variant and goes up to ₹13.38 lakh (ex-showroom) for the SX (O) 1.0 GDi DCT variant.
The compact SUV comes in four monotone colors—Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black, Atlas White, and Titan Grey—and three dual-tone schemes: Ranger Khaki with a black roof, Atlas White with a black top, and Titan Grey with a black roof. Outside, a black logo and black alloy wheels are among the limited features, as is a red treatment for the front brake calipers.
Other than this, the Venue Adventure Edition has an exclusive Adventure insignia on the inside and black roof rails, ORVMs & shark-fin antenna on the outside. It is also fitted with a dashcam, 3D Adventure mats, and upholstery seats only unique to the Kia Sonet HTX Both iMT and DCT are supplemented by special sage green hits and sporty metallic pedals. Inside, an all-black color scheme is enhanced by sage green accents.
The Venue Adventure Edition offers two engine options. The 1.2L naturally-aspirated four-cylinder engine delivers 83 bhp and 114 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The higher-spec variants feature a 1.0L turbocharged three-cylinder engine producing 120 bhp and 172 Nm of torque, available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Notably, this edition does not include the 1.5L diesel engine available in the Creta and Seltos.
