Hyundai Motor reveals Vision of New Concept of Metamobility, ‘Expanding Human Reach’ along with Robotics & Metaverse

Hyundai Motor Company has opened up on its vision for pioneering and also the usage of Robotics in both into the real world and also has the metaverse at VES 2022, there is also one of the most attractive tech events in this world, and it is running from Jan 5 to 7. At the press day event of the company, it was live-streamed through Hyundai Motor’s YouTube channel.

The Executive Chair of Hyundai Motor Group. Euisun Chung opened the presentation and followed by Dong-Jin Hyun, the Vice President and also the Head of Hyundai Motor Group  Robotics Lab, Chang Song, President and Head of Transportation as a Service Division of Hyundai Motor Group; and Marc Raibert, who is the Founder and Chairman of Boston Dynamics. All of them were joined by Ulrich Homann, Corporate Vice President, and also the Distinguished Architect, Cloud + AI at Microsoft.

Hyundai motors share their vision:

  • Hyundai Motor to share the vision for robotics in the real world and metaverse based on the theme ‘Expanding Human Reach’ to satisfy unlimited freedom of mobility
  • It seems that the company is to pioneer the latest ‘Metamobility’ idea, which is just going beyond such physic moves along with the robotics and the metaverse that will affect the change in the real world. It seems that future mobility will be blurred along with the extended robotics technologies like AI and autonomous driving to experience the possibility of such diverse mobility like automobile and UAM as the smart access devices. It will expand the mobility solutions for Metamobility using robots as the medium in between the real and the virtual worlds.
  •  Hyundai also reveals new Mobility of Things(MoT) concept where you can inanimate objects traditionally and gain mobility by using robotics. It also reveals Plug & Drive (PnD) and Drive & Lift (DnL) module platforms, which are like all-in-one solutions for the unlimited MoT ecosystem.
  • Euisun Chung said, ” We envision future mobility solutions made possible by advanced robotics-even expanding our mobility solutions to Metamobility
  • It has some diverse applications of PnD and DnL modules, containing the current revelation of such Mobile Eccentric  Droid (MobED)  like Boston Dynamics Spot and Atlas for displaying the Hyundai Motor booth.
  • The visitors of Booth will explore the leading robots of the company like its vision for Metamobility from Jan 5-7.

It is mainly under the theme of ‘Expanding Human Reach’, Hyundai motors has presented such reflected like the robotic business of the company to drive the paradigm shift towards the future mobility and also going just beyond the traditional means

Euisun Chung said, “ At Hyundai, we are harnessing the owner of robotics to achieve great things. We envision future mobility solutions made possible by advanced robotics-even exploring our mobility solutions to Metamobility”, he also added, “ This vision will enable unlimited freedom of movement and progress for humanity.”
