Hyundai Motor India has shown official interior shots of the upcoming Exter mini SUV. On July 10, 2023, the all-new Hyundai Exter will be released in India. Despite being the company’s smallest sport utility vehicle, the Exter will be packed with goodies.
The dashboard of the new Hyundai Exter is nearly identical to that of the Grand i10 Nios and Aura.
It comes with an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Hyundai’s BlueLink connected car technology. A digital instrument cluster, an electric sunroof, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and a class-leading 2,450 mm wheelbase will also be available.
The Hyundai Exter will be powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which also powers several other Hyundai vehicles. This engine produces 82 bhp and 113 Nm of peak torque when combined with a 5-speed manual transmission and an AMT. The Exter SUV will also be available with a bi-fuel CNG option.
On July 10, 2023, the new Exter mini SUV will be released in India. There will be five trim levels: EX, S, SX, SX(O), and SX(O) Connect. Pre-orders for the vehicle are now open, with prices starting at Rs 6 lakh ex-showroom. The Exter will compete with vehicles such as the Tata Punch, Citroen C3, Nissan Magnite, and others.
