Hyderabad FC, the Indian Super League (ISL) team, has recently been in the news for a breach of contract issue with former player Nestor Gordillo. The club has been banned from signing any new players until they make the payment to Gordillo. According to reports, Hyderabad FC has to pay USD 115,100 as compensation for breach of contract to lift ban without just cause, plus 5% interest p.a. as from 7 July 2020 until the date of effective payment.

The issue between Hyderabad FC and Nestor Gordillo dates back to the 2019-20 season, where the club was supposed to pay a total fee (net of Withholding tax) of USD 110,000 to the player.
