Goa up to 7th

After having to wait till their fourth game to earn their first win, Goa are now up to seventh place in the table. This is a clear sign of progress, especially against a side as confident as Hyderabad FC right now.

Since losing to Chennaiyin FC in their first game of the season, Hyderabad FC have not lost a single game in their last five outings. They have won against league leaders Mumbai City FC, Bengaluru and NorthEast United.

The draws have come from their games against Jamshedpur and Odisha FC today. Due to their unbeaten streak, they are now in second place, with 11 points.

A draw is the right result

Despite FC Goa having much more of the ball, they were unable to make use of possession to fully exploit their advantage. However, they did open up Hyderabad several times.

The Nizams did a good job of keeping themselves stable for the majority of the game. Goalkeeper Laxmikant Kattimani pulled off a remarkable last minute save to salvage a point from the closely contested draw. After 90 minutes of battle, sharing the spoils is the right result between the two teams.
