Hulp, a personal assistance and concierge platform leveraging artificial intelligence, announced today it has successfully closed a seed funding round, raising $2.6 million. The investment was co-led by Sparrow Capital and BITKRAFT Ventures, with additional participation from DeVC (Z47) and a syndicate of angel investors, including Yashish Dahiya, Co-Founder and Chairman of PB Fintech (PolicyBazaar).

The capital infusion is earmarked to accelerate Hulp’s strategic objectives, primarily focusing on expanding its AI-driven workflows across various categories such as lifestyle, household management, and operational tasks. This investment aims to enhance the platform’s capacity to support families in managing daily responsibilities efficiently. Further funding will be directed towards strengthening Hulp’s senior leadership team, advancing its technology and product capabilities, and establishing the organizational infrastructure required for broader expansion within India’s evolving AI-first consumer market. ## Hulp Company Background and Service Offering

Founded by Tarun Mathur, Neha Kulwal, and Vishal Singh Khutel, Hulp launched in April 2026. Tarun Mathur, who previously served as Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer at PolicyBazaar, played a pivotal role in developing significant product lines for the insurance aggregator.

Hulp provides urban Indian households with access to trained human personal assistants, available 24/7 via WhatsApp and the dedicated Hulp app. Users can delegate tasks through voice notes, covering more than 15 categories. These services range from government documentation and kitchen management to runner services, laundry, gardening, event bookings, restaurant reservations, and travel arrangements.

Tarun Mathur, Co-Founder & CEO of Hulp ([https://www.hulp.in](https://www.hulp.in/)), commented on the funding, stating, “Urban residents often face time and attention constraints for routine household tasks. Hulp integrates AI with verified human expertise to streamline daily life, enabling individuals to delegate, coordinate, and complete real-world obligations. Our objective is to become a trusted assistance platform for millions of urban households within the next two years.”

## Investor Perspectives

Anuj Tandon, Partner – India & UAE at BITKRAFT Ventures, highlighted the strategic rationale behind their investment: “The next evolution in consumer AI will be defined by ownership of context. The enduring value lies in a genuine, accumulated understanding of an individual’s needs and their household, developed through sustained interactions. Hulp embodies this thesis for us—a human-led assistant, augmented by AI, that fosters trust with Indian families and drives tangible efficiency in their daily routines, creating a smarter execution layer.”

Darshit Vora, General Partner at Sparrow Capital, emphasized the market opportunity. “India’s premium consumer segment is characterized by time scarcity and financial capacity, indicating strong adoption potential for convenience-oriented products. Consumers frequently spend hours on mundane, unplanned chores. Hulp addresses this by building a personal assistant model for households. Scaling this solution demands not just product innovation but also operational proficiency that harmonizes people, processes, and AI to navigate complex, unstructured demands—an area where Tarun and the Hulp team demonstrate significant expertise.”

Hulp currently operates in Delhi, Gurgaon, and Noida, supported by a 50-member operations team. The platform is designed to manage time-intensive everyday tasks that could otherwise consume between 30 minutes and six hours. The company has announced plans for expansion into Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, and Chennai.
