Hulp, a personal assistance and concierge platform, today announced it has secured $2.6 million in seed funding. The round was led by Sparrow Capital and BITKRAFT Ventures, with additional participation from DeVC (Z47) and a syndicate of angel investors, including Yashish Dahiya, Co-Founder and Chairman of PB Fintech (PolicyBazaar).

The capital infusion is earmarked to accelerate Hulp’s mission of providing personal assistance to urban Indian families. The company plans to invest in expanding its AI workflows across lifestyle, household, and operational management. This expansion aims to enhance assistance for daily responsibilities, strengthen Hulp’s senior leadership team, and deepen its technological and product capabilities as it scales within India’s growing AI-first consumer economy. ## Hulp Strategic Expansion and Service Model

Founded by Tarun Mathur, Neha Kulwal, and Vishal Singh Khutel, Hulp leverages a blend of AI and human expertise to streamline daily living. “Urban life today often leaves individuals with limited time for routine household tasks,” stated Tarun Mathur, Co-Founder & CEO of Hulp. “Our platform combines AI with human expertise to simplify everyday management, enabling users to delegate and accomplish real-world tasks. We aim to become a trusted assistance platform for millions of urban households within the next two years.”

The Hulp platform ([https://www.hulp.in](https://www.hulp.in/)) provides trained human personal assistants, accessible 24/7 via WhatsApp and the dedicated Hulp app. Users can delegate tasks through voice notes across more than 15 categories, including government documentation, kitchen management, runner services, laundry, gardening, event bookings, restaurant reservations, and travel arrangements.

## Investor Confidence in the AI-Led Market

Anuj Tandon, Partner – India & UAE, BITKRAFT Ventures, commented on the investment, highlighting the potential for AI in understanding individual context. “The next evolution in consumer AI is not solely about smarter models, but about contextual understanding. The lasting asset is a real, accumulated insight into a person’s needs, built through ongoing interactions. Hulp represents a forward-looking approach to this thesis, a human-led assistant, augmented by AI, that builds trust with Indian families and enhances daily efficiency.”

Darshit Vora, General Partner at Sparrow Capital, emphasized the market opportunity. “India’s premium consumers are time-constrained and financially affluent, making convenience-driven products highly attractive. Consumers spend significant time on routine chores. Hulp is addressing this by building a household personal assistant solution. Scaling this requires a robust operational framework that integrates people, processes, and AI, precisely the experience Tarun and the Hulp team bring.”

Hulp currently operates in Delhi, Gurugram, and Noida, with plans for expansion into Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, and Chennai. Supported by a 50-member operations team, the company estimates it saves users between 30 minutes to six hours on time-intensive everyday tasks.
