Huawei is the company that was affected the most by the US-China trade war and the 5G growth of the company was halted to a major extent by various bans and limitations placed on its by the US administration. As such the company’s smartphone market share has declined to almost a naught.
However, the Chinese tech giant is slowly but surely making its presence known in the market. according to sources, Huawei has two monitors ready to launch, and it’s not just the much-talked 32-inch model, instead, the Chinese company also plans to reveal a 42-inch monitor that it will also sell under its MateView series.
Reports indicate that the company’s 32-inch monitor is aimed at professionals, however, its 42-inch monitor is designed with gamers in mind. The 32-inch monitor has a 3:2 aspect ratio, a 4,500 x 3,000 resolution, and a native 90 Hz refresh rate. And since the bigger model is targeted towards gamers, it will have a 21:9 aspect ratio and will also operate at up to 165 Hz at 3,440 x 1,440 pixels.
However, the company is yet to announce whether the gaming monitor will support AMD FreeSync or NVIDIA G-Sync, but it will have built-in stereo speakers and HDR 400 certification. All of these are confirmed rumors however, the company is yet to unveil either of its monitors. But sources report that the 32-inch model has already been certified by the 3C in China.
