Design That Breaks the Mold

The Router X3 Pro features a unique cylindrical form with a transparent upper section housing a mountain-like structure that glows softly from within, resembling phenomena like “the light of the sun on the mountain” or “snow falling on the hills.” It has a “Golden Mountain” image on the front with the Huawei logo at the bottom, eliminating the boring look and adopting a more beautiful aesthetic.

Huawei’s Chairman Richard Yu confirmed the device after teasing consumers with mysterious images last week, stating: “It’s #Huawei Router X3 Pro#, will officially launch in November, so stay tuned!”

Expected Technical Specifications

While Huawei hasn’t released official specs yet, it’s expected that the Router X3 Pro will support the Wi-Fi 7 protocol and integrate a NearLink gateway. The device could work as a central hub for Huawei’s smart home ecosystem to control connected devices throughout the house and enable seamless multi-device collaboration.

Mesh Networking & Range Extender

The router is set to work in a mesh configuration, paired with a matching range extender in the same aesthetic, expanding coverage without laying new cables. This makes it perfect for large homes or multi-story buildings where a single router won’t suffice.

Pricing & Availability

Chinese pricing hasn’t been officially announced yet, but expect competitive pricing around CNY 500-800 (approximately ₹6,200-₹9,900) based on Huawei’s previous router launches. Indian availability and pricing remain unconfirmed, but if launched globally, expect it around ₹8,999-₹12,999.

Huawei is offering 20 free Router X3 Pro units through a Weibo giveaway, with winners randomly selected on November 10 at 12:00 PM.
