## **Huawei Pura 80 Pro rumored to feature a 1-inch 50MP SmartSens main sensor with triple 50MP cameras and RYYB filter**

According to the leak, the Pura 80 Pro will feature a brand-new 1-inch main camera sensor, potentially part of a new SmartSens series developed by Huawei itself. This sensor is rumored to be a 50MP resolution unit and has been designed to bring a premium photography experience. Specifically, the sensor could be explained as a SC5A0CS and may have been custom-made by Huawei, which means the company would not be relying on third-party sensor manufacturers like Sony or OmniVision for this device.

This is a big change as Huawei very much knows its imaging technology, and they could potentially aim SmartSens to become a sensor player to supply sensors not only to [Huawei](https://www.huawei.com/en/) but potentially other Chinese brands. Interestingly, this fresh leak contradicts an earlier report from Digital Chat Station, which suggests the Pura 80 Pro would have Sony’s 1-inch IMX989 50MP sensor instead, casting doubt on the actual hardware. Until Huawei officially confirms these specs or anything else, they’re just rumours and should be treated accordingly.

According to leaks and rumours, the Pura 80 Pro will feature a massive 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display, with a resolution of 1.5K and a high refresh rate for smooth visuals. The phone is expected to run on the latest version of Huawei’s [HarmonyOS](https://technosports.co.in/?s=HarmonyOS). In addition to the 50MP main sensor, the device is said to include a 50MP periscope telephoto camera and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens.

All three cameras reportedly utilize a custom RYYB color filter, which is designed to enhance low-light photography performance, reinforcing Huawei’s focus on delivering an impressive camera setup for its next flagship.
