The Nova 13 series is making its way outside of China as of October 2023 with the official emergence of the Huawei Nova 13i. Following its global launch back in December, The Nova 13i is now being released in select markets and packs some strong specs for the asking price. This device boasts a 108-megapixel rear camera, a Snapdragon 680 chipset, and a large 5,000mAh battery with 40W fast charging. It runs on Huawei’s Android-based EMUI 14.2 OS out of the box.

In terms of pricing, the Huawei Nova 13i has been launched at MXN 5,999 (around ₹25,200) for the 8GB + 256GB variant or MYR 1,299 (approximately ₹24,700). For now, it can be purchased in Myanmar and Mexico, via local Huawei websites, with the price of its 128GB variant not having been revealed. This smartphone is made available in two color variants — Blue and White.

The Nova 13i has a 6.7-inch full-HD+ LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of 270 Hz. At the heart of the device sits the Snapdragon 680 chipset, which is coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It also boots Huawei’s EMUI 14.2. For photography, the Nova 13i features a 108-megapixel primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.9 and a 2-megapixel depth sensor on the rear. On the front, there is an 8MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calls.

Additionally, the Nova 13i’s 5,000mAh battery supports 40W fast charging, with claims to reach 62% charge in just 30 minutes. The device also includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and offers a range of connectivity options such as dual 4G, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB Type-C.
