The Chinese giant Huawei has announced a couple of new laptops of their MateBook laptop lineup. These new Huawei MateBook D 14 & MateBook D 15 Laptops feature latest 10th Gen Intel processors and 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen Mobile processors.
As the name suggests, the Huawei MateBook D 14 is a 14-inch laptop whereas the MateBook D 15 is a 15.6-inch laptop. Both of them look similar on design and looks premium with high screen-to-body ratio. Also, they feature FullHD display along with 250nits of peak brightness and 178-degree viewing angles.
Talking of specs we have the 10th-gen Intel Core processors under the hood, configurable up to 10th-gen Intel Core i7-10510 processor. The Intel laptops also feature a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce MX250 GPU and can be paired with up to 16GB DDR4 RAM.
On the AMD front, we have the AMD Ryzen 5-3500U processor with integrated Radeon Vega 8 GPU and is paired with up to 16GB DDR4 RAM. The Huawei MateBook D 15 is paired with up to 256GB SSD along with 1TB HDD, while the 14-inch variant MateBook D 14 is limited up to 512GB SSD.
Speaking of I/O we have a USB Type-C port, a USB 3.0 Type-A port, a couple of USB 2.0 Type-A ports, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Also, there’s a hidden webcam under a Function key, this has been done to maximize the display of the laptop.
What’s really intriguing is about the battery of the laptop, the Huawei MateBook D 14 comes with a huge 56Wh battery, on the other hand, the bigger 15.6-inch Huawei MateBook D 15 actually comes with smaller 42Wh battery.
These laptops have a starting price of CNY 3,999 (around Rs.40,000) in China, where already there are up for pre-orders and will go on sale from December 3rd onwards.
